Can Bordoy Grand House & Garden is truly one of those different and exclusive accommodation. In addition to offering a 5-star Grand Luxury service, the goal “has been from the beginning to make the client feel at home, hence the Grand House concept”, explains its managing director, Julio Martín.

The hotel was the first in the center of Palma to reopen its doors and one of the first in Mallorca. “Our 5-star Grand Luxury category had us accustomed to maintaining high standards in terms of distance measures to guarantee the privacy and tranquility of our guests; and also when it comes to cleaning, since, for example, we have always cleaned the rooms with ozone after each client stay. However, in addition to all that, we have designed a strict protocol that includes multiple measures to preserve the health of all our employees and safe stays”, says Martín.

Good forecasts for the season

His good work is reflected in the forecasts for this season: “We expected a good autumn, but we are surprised by the rapid recovery that demand is showing for this summer, and from July 15 many days are already fully booked”.

A concept focused on the service that provides good results, in which the typical hours are diluted and the figure of the Lady of the House is created, which is in charge of serving the client in a personalized way from the moment in which the reservation is made. They even consult what their favorite flowers are so they can receive the client with a bouquet upon arrival, among many other details.

Exceptional design

Can Bordoy Grand House & Garden has also revolutionized the historic center of Palma for its exceptional design, carried out by the Ohlab studio, which has managed to embellish the passage of time while respecting the traces of its history and extolling them with modern touches, in addition to recreating authentic film sets.

Two of the elements that have managed to differentiate it from the competition is that it is one of the few hotels in the area, and almost in Mallorca, which has only suites, a total of 24, and the only one with a large private garden, 700 square meters, which is considered the largest in the old town.

These actions range from gastronomic initiatives led by the chef of his Botànic restaurant, Andrés Benítez; up to unique treatments in the only spa that the Premium Swiss Perfection brand has in Europe; or activities such as helicopter excursions to visit wineries and wine tastings, nautical excursions aboard the Chris-Craft, owned by the hotel, to discover the most beautiful coves in Mallorca, organization of picnics on the beach, golf promotions with Unlimited green, yoga classes overlooking the Cathedral, walking routes through the most unknown corners of Palma and a host of other initiatives, both inside and outside the establishment.
