The Superior Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands has authorized to continue requiring the COVID certificate in bars and restaurants until next February 28, as well as other measures against the pandemic approved by the Government, such as the conditions for work in health centers or visits to residences, according to Europa Press.

The measures that affect the restoration are linked to the health alert level of each island and expired next Monday.

The Prosecutor’s Office ruled in favor of the guarantee, understanding that they were measures that had already been previously ratified and now the situation is even more delicate.

In addition to the COVID passport requirement, the TSJIB has examined measures that affect the opening hours of establishments, capacity regulation, etc.

In the cars, to which Europa Press has had access, the Chamber considers that they are sufficiently justified and that they are proportional.
