The City Council of Palma will close the vehicular traffic of a section of the first line of Playa de Palma every Sunday morning, between 9 and 14 hours.

The initiative begins this Sunday, February 6 and will end on Sunday, April 3. This is a request from the Hoteliers Association of Playa de Palma and its objective is to recover this pedestrian space and encourage citizens to enjoy Playa de Palma for walks, sports or recreational activities.

The first two Sundays (February 6 and 13) the section that will be enabled is the one located between the streets of Alegría and Son Rigo. As of February 20, the section will be extended to Calle de los Trovadores, in principle.
