Sa Rueta yes, Sa Rua no

Sa Rueta 2022 will bring the illusion of carnival to the little ones. However, Palma’s carnival for adults, Sa Rua, will have to wait until at least next year. The City Council has decided to suspend the celebration of Sa Rua 2022. Therefore, this year the call to citizens and entities for their participation will not be launched. According to the City Council, the decision has been made after the Citizen Participation Area has analyzed the current health regulations and the alert levels. In this way, they consider that the float and comparsa contest is a massive event in which compliance with the regulations cannot be guaranteed.
