In addition to the tastings, the Mallorca Bakery Festival will feature a live show-cooking, where participants can enjoy the process of creating these typical Mallorcan delicacies. This live demonstration will be a unique opportunity to learn the techniques and secrets of master pastry chefs.

The event, held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will also include a special tribute to renowned pastry chefs from across the island, recognizing their contributions to Mallorcan gastronomy. This initiative, led by the Consell de Mallorca, aims to highlight the importance of traditional bakery and pastry sectors, honoring both historic businesses and more modern, innovative ones.

The Mallorca Bakery Festival is the perfect occasion for pastry and artisan bread enthusiasts, as well as those looking to delve deeper into the island’s rich culinary culture. With free entry and tastings, a large turnout is expected from people eager to discover and savor the best of Mallorcan bakeries.

This event is supported by the Asociación de Cocineros Afincados en las Islas Baleares (ASCAIB) and the Federación de Asociaciones de Cocineros y Reposteros de España (FACYRE Baleares), which collaborated with the Consell to organize this first Mallorca Bakery Festival.
