The Ministry of Health has presented the new campaign of flu vaccination in the Balearic Islands for the 2025-2026 season, which will begin on 13 October with more than 276,800 doses available. The aim is to consolidate the increase in vaccination coverage achieved in the previous campaign and to protect in particular the at-risk groups.

Meanwhile, on 6 October vaccination will start in the schools of the archipelago, both public and private or state-subsidised. On the same date, vaccination will also be carried out for residents in care homes for the elderly and for people with disabilities, as well as patients included in home care programmes.
