Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera have all attended the virtual World Travel Market fair, based in London, to convey a message of optimism and security. The islands are ready to reopen to tourism.

AETIB, the Balearic Islands Tourism Strategy Agency, presented a promotional video about the islands with the slogan “Don’t stop dreaming”.

The video highlights the aspects that Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera “await” you for: history, sport, nature and gastronomy.

During the presentation of the Balearic Islands destination at the WTM fair, Iago Negueruela, Minister of the Economic Model, Tourism and Employment, said that “we are preparing in a decisive way with the whole sector for the 2021 season, which will be key, strategic and in which we are confident of the recovery of the British market, which is very important for the islands”.

“We are prepared for this, we have safety protocols that show that the companies are up to the task and the workers and trade unions too: they have all made an effort that we are putting into relevance in this WTM”.
