It was an open secret, and after several weeks of rumors, ¡Hola! magazine confirmed today that Rafa Nadal and María Francisca Perelló, better known as Mery Perelló, are going to be parents of their first child.
Speculation intensified during and after Rafa Nadal’s 14th victory at the Roland Garros tournament held recently in Paris.
The magazine ¡Hola! shows on its cover and on the inside pages some pictures of the couple’s vacations in which Mery Perelló can be seen showing off a revealing pre-mommy silhouette in a swimsuit aboard her boat, Great White, in Mallorcan waters.
The couple spent the days after Nadal’s 22nd Grand Slam title with a group of friends relaxing and disconnecting by taking a tour of Mallorca’s north coast.
Rafa Nada and Mery Perelló married on October 19, 2019 in Mallorca, and he turned 36 years old just recently, while his wife, Mery Perelló, is 33.
A long-awaited pregnancy
Although the couple has not yet officially announced it, the news of the pregnancy has surely made the couple happy, since the tennis player had expressed in several interviews that both he and his wife would love to be parents someday.
