Port Adriano Mallorca Festival will inaugurate its tenth edition on July 20th with the concert of Nile Rodgers & CHIC. Among the legends of music, the case of Nile Rodgers is unique. Expanding his legacy by being recognized with several GRAMMY awards as composer, producer and guitarist, Rodgers has been able to constantly traverse new terrain throughout his career, expanding his music and popularity without limits.

As co-founder of CHIC, he pioneered a musical language that spawned hits such as “Le Freak” and sparked the arrival of hip-hop with “Good Times”. His work with CHIC and his productions for artists such as David Bowie, Diana Ross and Madonna have sold more than 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide, while his innovative collaborations with Daft Punk, Avicii, Sigala, Disclosure or Sam Smith reflect the cutting edge of contemporary music. The night of July 20th will undoubtedly be a date to remember forever.

Headliners for the second date of the festival are ‘The Dire Straits Experience, featuring original band member Chris White’. On August 6, the acclaimed show by former Dire Straits member Chris White and six world-renowned musicians brings back to life the music of one of music’s most creative and unique bands.

The closing act of this year’s festival will be Texas on August 12. After the success of their previous tour, at the time of the release of their latest album, Jump On Board, Texas is now returning to the stage to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Southside. In this tour, a show that will not miss any of the songs that are part of this legendary work, in addition to all their greatest hits.
