The Palma International Boat Show 2021 will take place from June 3 to 6 at the Moll Vell in Palma. The dates of the event have jumped on the calendar again and will be final as long as Mallorca is at risk level 3 or lower.

The nautic event, organized by the Balearic Islands Institute for Business Innovation (IDI) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), will serve to reactivate a key sector in the Balearic Islands. In this way, the vice president and minister of Energy Transition, Juan Pedro Yllanes, declared that “aware of the situation caused by the pandemic, we want to take a step forward and support nautical companies, which have shown the will to be able to have an event that contributes to the reactivation and promotion of the sector”. For his part, the president of the Balearic Port Authority, Francesc Antich, has guaranteed the port’s support in the organization of the fair “given the strategic importance of sailing” in all the ports of general interest in the Balearic Islands.

The next edition of the Palma International Boat Show will include different areas and sectors. Although the official program is not yet confirmed. The different activities will take place from 11:00 to 20:00. The venue will also have three entrances: the counter-pier Mollet / Avda. Antonio Maura- In front of the APB Building; Calle del Muelle / Comisaría del Puerto de Palma; and the Paseo Marítimo – Plaza San Telmo. These are some of the contents of the expected nautical event:

The organization of the nautical fair has prepared a COVID protocol to avoid contagion. Thus, in this edition of the Palma International Boat Show 2021 a strict control of the capacity is included, which may not exceed 1,500 people. There will also be a thermal control of the temperature and online ticket sales to avoid queues and crowds. In addition, there will be a team that will control that both exhibitors and visitors comply with health regulations within the Moll Vell fairgrounds.
