The economic recovery after the break due to COVID-19 encourages Meliá Hotels to create around 1,200 jobs in the Balearic Islands for this season in base and middle management positions.

To this end, the company led by Gabriel Escarrer is holding two recruitment days for its hotels in Palma and Calviá, on February 10 and 23, respectively, where the candidates will be interviewed personally and, in addition, will participate in various group dynamics where they will learn about close to the development and growth opportunities of the company.

Likewise, the company will participate on March 9 in the Palma Activa Employment Forum, as well as in the recruitment sessions organized by the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) on March 15 and 16, where it will also present all its job opportunities employment on the islands.

In a statement, Meliá highlights the wide range of positions and room to grow within the group, in its Meliá Hotels & Resorts, Gran Meliá, ME by Meliá, Innside by Meliá and Sol by Meliá brands. In the hotel field, positions are offered in the areas of Reception, Food and Beverage, Guest Experience, Floors, Activities, Events or Technical Services, among others.​
