Can you imagine buying a finca in Mallorca with direct access to the sea for 15 million euros? You are not the only one. A luxury villa in Camp de Mar is one of the five most sought after properties among Brits who plan to buy a home abroad. Florida, New York, California … and Mallorca. Here are the most viewed houses so far this year by users of Rightmove, one of the main real estate portals in the United Kingdom.
“Traveling abroad has been restricted for months, but these measures have not stopped the British public from browsing our portal to discover their favorite European villas and American mansions,” explains Tim Bannister, data director at Rightmove. “There is still a great appetite to see impressive houses abroad”, from a bulletproof fortress in New York to a “wonderful house on the southwest coast of Mallorca”, Bannister advances.
Californian style by the Mediterranean
The Mallorcan mansion sells for 15 million euros and is located in Camp de Mar. With its modern and surprising design, it is reminiscent of the dream houses in the hills of California. Virtually all rooms in the villa have magnificent views of the sea. A panorama that is maximized with large doors and windows to achieve more light. Among the property’s strengths are its two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor.
Two are also the villas built on the estate. The main house is 729 square meters, including a basement with a sauna and an indoor pool, as well as a spacious roof terrace. The second villa is 288 square meters. Both have a total of nine rooms and it has enough space, more than enough, to ‘live the Mallorcan dream’. Will it get tenants soon?
