The Consell has announced that the ITV stations in Mallorca will be open on Saturdays during June to ease waiting lists that have built up at some facilities. This initiative, which will start on Saturday 7 June and continue on the 14th, 21st and 28th, will allow up to 4,000 additional inspections across the five stations operating in Mallorca: Palma I, located in the Son Castelló industrial estate; Palma II, in the Son Oms industrial estate; the new station in Calvià; as well as the stations in Inca and Manacor.

Those interested can now book appointments at any of the stations through the official portal: ITV.mallorca.es. Opening hours will be from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
While demand at the Palma and Calvià stations is low and appointments can be booked for June and July without issue, requests have built up at the Manacor and Inca stations, making it difficult to provide service within reasonable times. To enable this extension, an agreement has been reached with the workers’ committee of the ITV stations in Mallorca for voluntary staff to conduct inspections on Saturdays. The available personnel assure they can meet the scheduled 4,000 inspections.
