Mallorca welcomes Christmas 2023 wrapped in light, colour and illusion. This weekend the range of Christmas markets on the island takes us to different towns and cities that are decked out to celebrate these festive days.

From Campanet to Andratx, via Palma, the Mallorcan municipalities are getting ready to welcome locals and visitors to their traditional Christmas markets. Craft stalls, gastronomic delights, live music and activities for all the family, each event is a unique experience.

Andratx:

Concerts, workshops, performances and traditional stalls are the stars of the 2023 Christmas market in Andratx. It will also be held in other areas of the municipality, such as in s’Arracó, on Saturday the 9th of December; and on Saturday the 16th of December in Port d’Andratx. Palma:

Apart from the Fira de Nadal i Reis 2023, from the 1st to the 17th of December the Pueblo Español is preparing a special Christmas market. The timetable is as follows:

  • 1 to 10 December from 1 pm to 11 pm.
  • 11 to 14 December from 17:00 h to 22:30 h.
  • 15 to 17 December from 13:00 to 23:00 h.

Admission is 10 euros; 5 euros for teenagers (9 to 15 years old); up to 8 years old is free. Each ticket includes a Glühwein (mulled wine) or hot chocolate.

Santa Ponça:

Craft and food stalls in a German-style Christmas atmosphere. Including the traditional and spectacular LEGO exhibition. The market is open from 26 November to 19 December from 17.00 to 22.00, weekdays. Weekend opening hours are from 10.00 to 22.00 hours. Admission is free and it is located at the fairgrounds El Molino de Santa Ponça, next to the Son Bugadellas estate.

Son Amar Christmas Wonderland:

From the 1st to the 22nd of December House of Son Amar surprises with the live show “Christmas Wonderland“. You can visit more than 25 craft and food stalls and have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and skate around the Hall of Fountains on the artificial rink. The entrance fee is 5 euros.

Puerto Portals:

The Christmas Market in Puerto Portals starts on 14th December and runs until 6th January. More than forty wooden stalls decorated with garlands of lights and trees offer a wide variety of Christmas products. You can find ornaments, accessories, wooden toys, as well as a succulent culinary offer. The market has a full programme of activities for all the family and admission is free.

Port Adriano:

The Christmas Park in Port Adriano is located in the central square of Port Adriano from the 22nd of December until the 8th of January. It offers you the biggest ecological ice rink in Mallorca, which you can access free of charge. Skate hire is also free, although it is only available for children over the age of 4. You can slide down a giant three-lane slide that is 3 metres high and 30 metres long. The opening hours are uninterrupted from 12:00 to 20:00, except on the 24th and 31st, when it will close at 16:00. There will also be two food and drink stalls with a snack area. With a surprise: Father Christmas will pay a visit to the little ones on 23 December from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on 24 December from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
