Palma City Council will install a giant screen in Plaça de la Reina on Sunday, July 14, so that citizens can watch the Euro 2024 final live between Spain and England. Plaça de la Reina will thus become the epicenter of football and the passion for the national team, which is aiming for its fourth European Cup title following those won in 1964, 2008, and 2012.

From 8 PM, the Municipal Sports Institute (IME) will offer recreational and musical activities to entertain the wait. National and Local Police will control access to the square to ensure security and monitor the traffic restrictions that will begin at 7 PM. These restrictions will affect Plaça de la Reina, Passeig del Born, and the avenues Jaume III and Antoni Maura.

Additionally, the Municipal Transport Company of Palma (EMT) will decorate its vehicles with national flags on the mirrors. Palma’s taxi drivers will be allowed to drive with red clothing or accessories that reference the national flag colors.
