The chairman of the Iberostar Group, Miquel Fluxà, is the only businessman in Mallorca to rank in the top 25 positions in the list of the 100 richest entrepreneurs in Spain compiled by Forbes magazine and headed by Amancio Ortega, Inditex’s majority shareholder, with 67,000 million euros.

Fluxà, number 22 on the list, has 1,200 million euros. It has dropped 10 positions compared to 2020; Gabriel Escarrer is the Mallorcan businessman who follows Fluxà on the famous list. He went from position 52 to 30, with 900 million euros.

Above the singer Julio Iglesias, the brothers Carlos and Juan March Delgado, from Corporación Financiera Alba and Banca March, are ranked 35 and 37 respectively. Towards the end of the list, another Balearic hotel family is listed in the 100 richest in Spain. They are Carmen and Luis Riu, owners of the Riu Group, with a fortune of 300 million euros.

Alicia Koplowitz (Omega Capital): 2.300 million euros.

Hortensia Herrero (Accionista de Mercadona): 2.300 million euros.

María del Pino (Presidenta de la Fundación Rafael del Pino): 2.200 million euros.
