The Fira de la Llampuga 2024 will be held in Cala Rajada from October 11 to 13. The event highlights the importance of llampuga fishing, a fish traditionally caught off the coast of Mallorca in autumn. Now in its 21st edition, the fair brings together residents and visitors for a gastronomic and cultural celebration. A total of 21 local establishments, including restaurants, bars, hotels, and bakeries, will participate in the fair.
Organized by the Capdepera Town Hall, the event will feature the participation of the Confraria de Pescadors and various local associations. Mireia Ferrer, mayor of Capdepera, has emphasized that the fair is an opportunity to highlight the region’s maritime traditions. The Fira de la Llampuga will offer not only typical dishes made with this delicious fish but also live music and activities for the whole family.
