The managing director of the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB), Pere Malondra, together with the Conseller de Fons Europeus, Universitat i Cultura, Miquel Company have presented the poster and the dates of this seventh edition of the Fira B! 2022.

The Mercat Professional de les Illes Balears will hold the event on different days dedicated to music and the performing arts. Fira B! 2022 will begin on the 27th of September until the 2nd of October in Palma. These days will feature 48 concerts and 25 performing arts performances. This is 30% more than in the previous edition. This year, attendees will be able to enjoy the most representative performances on the music and drama scene by local artists from the islands.

Fira B! 2022 is committed to the representation of artists from all the islands with the aim of promoting and bringing together the culture of the different territories. 27, 28 and 29 September, where the musical concerts and professional days will be held.
29 and 30 September; 1 and 2 October, where the performances of the stage shows will take place, without overlooking the professional conferences in this sector.

In addition, music professionals will have the opportunity to make presentations, as well as showcases. It is worth highlighting the importance of this conference in terms of networking for music experts in order to expand contacts and promote projects within the music industry.

As for the performing arts, the professional conferences will be held at the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró in Palma. These days of professional meetings will feature translators and playwrights in a workshop offered by COFAE, where professionals from the sector will also be able to attend round tables on sustainability, artistic residencies, as well as audiovisual presentations, pitching sessions and some performances.
