“Estancias en la Serra” in Mallorca is the new program of the Consell to promote family sports. An extensive program that will take place throughout the first semester of 2021. The initiative begins with two weekends in Lluc within the “Sport for all” activities. In this way, the natural environment of Mallorca is taken advantage of, perfect for developing activities in small groups and outdoors.

This new program, which was very well received last year, aims to reach 120 users during the month of March. As spring progresses, the “Estancias en la Serra” will be extended with more adventure days in other centers of Mallorca. Even with sports days in hotels with the aim that families have the possibility of practicing sports in small groups and safe environments.

In total, the “Stays in the Serra” in 2021 will benefit 3,000 people, according to the Consell de Mallorca. This represents an increase compared to last year’s edition, inaugurated in Escorca, due to the high demand for the service.
