The Cathedral of Mallorca will host this Sunday June 19 one of the most solemn festivities within its liturgy, the “Corpus Christi”. This celebration, which is lived with great devotion by all Mallorcan believers.

It will begin at 5:10pm with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, then will take place at 17:15pm the singing of Vespers and finally, at 6:00pm the Eucharist presided by His Excellency Mons. Bernardito Auza, Apostolic Nuncio in Spain. The Mass will be concelebrated by the Bishop of Mallorca, Mons. Sebastià Taltavull, the members of the Chapter and all the priests in attendance.

After two years of pandemic, this year the procession will recover the traditional route: Dalt Murada, Palau street, Santa Eulalia square, Palau Reial street, Cort square and return to the Seu.

The Blessed Sacrament will be carried by the float with the Custodia Mayor. The Lledània and the insignia of the Seu (Tintinábulo and Conopeo) will also be worn during the procession. The Brotherhoods will also participate with their standard.
