The EMT Palma temporarily suspends the NitBus service that provides service on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of holidays from 11:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. due to the high incidence of COVID casualties in the municipal company. It should be remembered that currently around 10% of the EMT Palma workforce is affected by COVID-19 sick leave.

In this sense, the EMT Palma registers 107 casualties, 63 of which due to the incidence of COVID-19 among EMT drivers, a group made up of 555 people. Until now, the rest of the services of the EMT Palma have been provided with total normality.

The company is committed to reactivating the NitBus network as soon as the incidence of COVID casualties makes it feasible.

The EMT Palma NitBus network is made up of four lines:

-N1 that links Porta del Camp with the promenade

-N2 that goes from Can Blau to Can Valero and passes through neighborhoods such as La Soledat, Nou Llevant, Matadero or Camp Redó

-N3 that joins the area of ​​the Germans Escales sports center with s’Indioteria

-N4 that leaves Son Bonet and runs along Calle Aragó
