The City Council has presented the Cinema a la Fresca cycle in Inca for 2023. A total of three screenings are scheduled to take place on Thursdays in August in the town’s bullring. The films will start at 9:30 p.m. and, as usual in other editions of Cinema a la Fresca in Inca, admission will cost 1 euro and will go to the Fundació Campaner.

  • 10th August: Minions: The Origin of Gru (Catalan version). Film from 2022 that tells the story long before Gru became an evil genius. Back then, he was just a 12-year-old boy trying to conquer the world from the basement of his house in a random suburb in the 1970s.
  • 17 August: Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The 2022 sequel to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. It is the third installment in the series of films based on one of the companion books to J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series.
  • 24 August: Coda: The Sounds of Silence. Award-winning film from 2021 in which Ruby is the only hearing member of a family of deaf people. At 17, she works mornings with her parents and brother in Gloucester, Massachusetts, before school, trying to keep her fishing business afloat.

The programme, which includes films aimed at all audiences, was presented by the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno. He was accompanied by the councillor for Youth and Participation, Antoni Peña, as well as the presence of representatives of the Fundació Campaner, who will receive the proceeds from the box office of the Cinema a la Fresca cycle in Inca.
