This weekend the local police carried out various preventive controls with the aim of detecting possible situations of alcohol or drug use while driving, as well as cases of violation of traffic regulations. The points chosen to set up these devices were Camí Jesús, in the vicinity of the Polígon de Son Valentí, and calle Federico García Lorca, in the Gomila area.

Throughout these operations, police officers have controlled a total of 40 vehicles, processing 34 complaints that respond to the following actions:

8 non-compliances related to the ITV.
7 immobilisations.
6 administrative breathalyser tests.
5 driving without wearing seat belts.
3 positive drug tests.
2 driving licences expired.
1 criminal breathalyser.
1 invalid driving licence.
1 no insurance.
