Spending by foreign tourists increased by 12.6% in the annual rate in Illes Balears. The archipelago also leads the way in other indicators. It is the main destination with the greatest weight in tourist spending in June, with 23.1% of the total, followed by Catalonia (20.5%) and Andalusia (13.6%). The average expenditure per tourist in that month within the islands amounted to 1,275 euros, with an average daily expenditure of 188 euros and an average stay of 6.1 days.

The Balearic Islands was also the community with the most overnight stays in June, (with 12.6 million, 4.5% more than in June 2022). They are followed by Comunitat Valenciana (with 9.1 million and an increase of 8.5%) and Catalonia (with 9.1 million, 0.6% more).

The United Kingdom and Germany, with 30.9% of the total each, were the main sources of tourists to the islands.
