A charity event supporting cancer research
The 11th edition of Mallorca March Against Cancer is supported by the Consell de Mallorca, which is particularly involved in this year’s children’s races, introduced to the programme for the first time.
During the presentation, the president of the Consell, Llorenç Galmés, emphasised that “in the Balearic Islands, it is essential to continue making progress in prevention, research, early detection and comprehensive care for those affected, their families and carers”.
Meanwhile, the conseller de Medi Ambient, Medi Rural i Esports, Pedro Bestard, stated that “every race, walk, charity event or community initiative represents much more than fundraising: it is a demonstration of collective commitment, hope and support for everyone living with this disease”.
