Palma’s historic marina completes its transformation with new spaces, services and a concept open to the city

Club de Mar-Mallorca begins a new chapter this summer following the completion of an ambitious refurbishment aligned with the demands of the 21st-century nautical sector. This transformation redefines Palma’s seafront and projects the prestigious and historic marina towards a new horizon, as a contemporary space open to the city, without renouncing the essence that has made it a benchmark in the Mediterranean for more than half a century.

With an investment of close to 95 million euros, the new complex is structured around four buildings —Tramuntana, Llevant, Ponent and Migjorn— housing offices, dining venues, a dry marina and exclusive members’ areas, together with a gym, spa and multipurpose rooms. The entire development revolves around a pedestrian promenade that connects the club with Palma and sets the rhythm of the experience. Along this axis unfolds a selection of more than twenty retail units featuring leading fashion, jewellery and nautical brands, alongside a gastronomic offering that combines concepts such as Cantina Grill, Mar Salada by Crudo, a Peruvian-Mediterranean inspired restaurant and the Club de Mar lounge. The result is an environment that invites visitors to stay, to explore at leisure and to experience the port from a new perspective.

At marina level, Club de Mar-Mallorca consolidates its international positioning with 543 berths, following a reconfiguration adapted to today’s vessels. More than 70 are allocated to large yachts measuring between 40 and 170 metres in length, placing the marina among Europe’s leading destinations for superyachts. The new infrastructure ensures operational efficiency, comfort and a high level of service in line with the club’s long-standing reputation.

Commitment to sustainability

Sustainability defines this new era. Club de Mar-Mallorca integrates solutions focused on energy efficiency, responsible water management and the use of renewable energy, with measures such as solar panels, bioclimatic architecture and advanced water treatment systems that reduce environmental impact and support the sector’s evolution.

Sport continues to play an essential role in the identity of Club de Mar-Mallorca. Nautical activity is strengthened with year-round sailing and canoeing programmes, including the leading paracanoe (adaptive canoeing) team in the Balearic Islands, as well as the hosting of the Regata Illes Balears Clàssics, one of the most renowned classic sailing events in the Mediterranean.

The result is a club open to Palma and fully integrated into its surroundings, where sailing, gastronomy and the Mediterranean lifestyle are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
