The XXXII Fira de Son Ferriol 2026 will take place on Sunday 22 March, from 10:00 to 17:00, along the Avinguda del Cid and nearby streets in this Palma neighbourhood. The event is promoted by the Associació Indústria i Comerç de Son Ferriol, with the support of the Ajuntament de Palma, and has become one of Mallorca’s leading agricultural, livestock and craft fairs.

In recent editions, the fair has brought together more than 170 exhibitors across nearly 2,000 metres of stalls, taking over much of central Son Ferriol. Visitors can browse local food products, crafts, agricultural machinery and a wide range of local businesses, along with areas dedicated to the display of farm animals.
The presence of horses, sheep, goats and other animals linked to rural life is one of the event’s most distinctive features. These displays, together with demonstrations connected to the primary sector, reinforce the fair’s links with Mallorca’s agricultural and livestock traditions.
Food, crafts and popular culture at the Fira de Son Ferriol 2026
One of the highlights of the Fira de Son Ferriol is its festive, family-friendly atmosphere. Throughout the day, the programme features activities that reflect Mallorca’s popular culture.
Typical highlights include:
- Stalls with local food and traditional products.
- Craft displays and local, independent retail.
- Equestrian displays and farm animals.
- Performances by local dance groups and neighbourhood associations.
- Street parades and live entertainment with dimonis and batucades.
- Children’s activities and traditional demonstrations.
The opening usually begins with a festive parade featuring local groups and community organisations, which winds through the main streets and marks the official start of the fair. This year’s edition will also include a painting exhibition by local artists. As is tradition, the day will also pay tribute to a person or organisation from Son Ferriol for their contribution to neighbourhood life.
Declared of municipal public interest
The Ajuntament de Palma has declared the XXXII Fira agrícola, ramadera i artesanal de Son Ferriol to be of municipal public interest, a decision approved by the Junta de Govern.
This declaration recognises the fair’s social, cultural and economic value for the city, as well as its role in energising the neighbourhood and promoting traditions linked to rural life and local commerce.
