From 26 July to 2 August, Pollença dresses up to celebrate one of its most beloved traditions: the Festes de La Patrona 2025. For more than a week, this Mallorcan town becomes a lively meeting point filled with music, colour and tradition, in honour of the Mare de Déu dels Àngels, the town’s patron saint.

The festive programme blends religious, cultural and leisure events that reflect the welcoming and participative spirit of the Pollença community. From children’s workshops, exhibitions and concerts to theatre performances, parades, traditional dances and fireworks, the activities are designed for audiences of all ages.

Highlights include the traditional Alborada, the ball dels Cossiers, the pregó, the popular Pa amb oli, the Dragut Fest, the show Habemus papam with Agustín El Casta and Sweet Duo, and the lively revetles that bring rhythm to the nights at the Plaça Major.

The high point arrives on 2 August with the renowned Moros i Cristians re-enactment — a dramatic performance that commemorates the town’s defence against the pirate Dragut. This symbolic and emotional event involves hundreds of locals dressed in traditional costumes, recreating the historical battle with pride and passion. The atmosphere, costumes and community spirit make this one of the most unforgettable moments of the festival.

The 2025 edition of the Festes de la Patrona de Pollença promises once again to be a vibrant expression of Mallorcan tradition and a heartfelt celebration that brings the whole town together.
