Valldemossa is getting ready for its eagerly awaited Festes de La Beata 2025, in honour of Santa Catalina Thomàs, with a full programme of activities that will fill the village streets from 16 to 28 July. As every summer, this event brings together locals and visitors around devotion, music, theatre and the most authentic traditions of the Serra de Tramuntana.

During these days, the municipality will host theatrical performances, concerts, children’s entertainment, workshops, cooking competitions and religious celebrations that keep the popular spirit of the festivities alive. Among this year’s highlights are the theatre play “Beneïda i casada, abans que monja ficada”, the much-anticipated paella competition, the sling-throwing workshops, the lively revetlla on 19 July, and the original “Hat Party” afternoon gathering on the 26th.
The most emotional moment will take place on 28 July, with the traditional Carro Triomfal parade, which will pass through the streets of Valldemossa accompanied by carretons (decorated carts) from local farmers and the melodies of marching bands and xeremiers (traditional bagpipers), creating a deeply festive and moving atmosphere.
The Festes de La Beata 2025 of Valldemossa are a must on the Mallorcan summer calendar, where tradition and culture go hand in hand in a truly unique setting. Below are some of the main events and activities:
