The President of the Balearic Islands, Margalida Prohens, officially opened the new edition of the Palma International Boat Show 2025 today, Tuesday. The event takes place from 30 April to 3 May at the Moll Vell and the Club de Mar in Palma. With a total of 304 exhibitors, the show breaks participation records and consolidates its position as an international benchmark in the nautical sector.

During the opening ceremony, Prohens highlighted the economic impact of the show, which in 2024 generated a return of €20.1 million, underlining the high average spending of nautical tourists. She was accompanied by authorities such as the Minister for Business, Employment and Energy, Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, and the Minister for the Sea and the Water Cycle, Juan Manuel Lafuente, among others. The president emphasised the strategic importance of the event for the Balearic economy.

Superyacht New Build Hub, the highlight of the Palma International Boat Show 2025

Organised by the Balearic Islands Regional Development Agency (ADRBalears) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), this year’s show introduces the Superyacht New Build Hub, a new area located at the Club de Mar dedicated to custom superyachts over 40 metres in length. This space will feature around ten vessels and a land-based exhibition with eleven high-end industry companies.

The Palma International Boat Show 2025, with nearly 600 boats on display, is spread across two areas (Moll Vell and Club de Mar), connected by shuttle boats that allow visitors to move between the zones using a single ticket. In addition, the traditional Palma Superyacht Village remains a key attraction for yachts over 24 metres available for sale or charter. The Palma International Boat Show thus kicks off the nautical season with strong international projection.
