The Mallorca Carnival, known as ‘Els Darrers Dies’ (The Last Days), is one of the most eagerly awaited celebrations of the year on the island, filling the streets with music, costumes, and joy before the start of Lent. In 2025, the main festivities will take place from 22 February to 2 March across the island, with events in different towns. However, the most important and largest celebration is the Palma Carnival, featuring Sa Rueta, a family-friendly event for children, and Sa Rua, the grand parade of floats and groups.
