2023-2024 Balearic Islands School Calendar

The 2023-2024 school calendar starts on Monday, September 11 and will end on June 21. It will have a total of 176 school days, the same as the previous academic year. The unified school holiday will be on February 29

This has been approved by the Advisory Council of the School Calendar at the proposal of the Regional Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

According to the school calendar 2023-2024, this course will have 176 school days, the same as in 2022-2023:

Infant, primary, secondary, high school and special education students: the school year will begin on September 11, 2023. It will end on June 21, 2024.
Exceptionally, students in the second year of baccalaureate who graduate will finish the course on May 30, 2024.
Vocational training students will begin classes on September 22, 2023 and will finish on June 21, 2024.

Special regime studies

Regarding the different special regime studies, the school calendar 2023-2024 is as follows:

The students of the professional conservatories of music and dance will begin activities on September 27, 2023. They will finish on June 21, 2024.
Those of the intermediate and higher level training cycles of Plastic Arts and Design will begin classes on September 29, 2023. They will finish on June 28, 2024.
The students of special regime sports education will start classes on October 16, 2023. They finish the course on June 24, 2024.
The students of the official language schools begin classes on October 2, 2023. They finish on May 31, 2024. The month of June must be dedicated to exams.

School calendar 2023-2024 for adult centers and higher studies of Music

Adult education centers begin classes on September 29, 2023 and finish on June 21, 2024.
The students of the higher studies of Design of the School of Art and Higher Studies of Design of the Balearic Islands begin the teaching activities on September 29, 2023 and finish them on June 28, 2024.
The students of the Superior Studies of Dramatic Art of the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de las Illes Balears will begin classes on September 21, 2023 and will finish on July 5, 2024.
The students of the higher studies of Music of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de las Illes Balears (Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands) will begin classes on September 25, 2023 and will finish on June 15, 2024.

School vacations school calendar 2023-2024

Christmas vacations will be from December 22, 2023 to January 5, 2024, both included, and Easter vacations from March 28 to April 5, 2024, both included.
