<\/p>\nThe BH Mallorca Resort located in Calvi\u00e0 will reopen its doors in May 2024 maintaining its 1,056 apartments distributed in three buildings, but more sustainable and renovated. Fergus Group, together with Empresas Matutes, intends that the improvements will also be transferred to the complementary offer of the area<\/p>\n
The hotel BH Mallorca Resort is the establishment chosen by the hotel group Fergus to be added to the works of repositioning of one of the most important mature zones of the islands. A change of model that, they trust, will also be extended to the complementary offer of Magaluf.<\/p>\n
In fact, in addition to extending the season, the Mallorcan group wants to reduce the enormous presence of all-inclusive at this hotel. At present, almost all its clients are all-inclusive. From next season onwards, with the transformation of the complex already completed, this figure, they predict, will drop: it is expected that 4 out of 10 will opt for another type of regime: the ‘bed and brunch’. “In this way, the complementary offer not only of the area, but also of the island, will benefit. Tourists will have more money to spend,” said the company’s founder, Pep Ca\u00f1ellas.<\/p>\n

For his part, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government, Jaume Bauz\u00e1, thanked Fergus Group and the Matutes Group of Companies for their efforts in the conversion and repositioning of this hotel. “The project links perfectly with the tourist policy that we want for these years in the Balearic Islands. From the public sector we will make the necessary efforts. What we are looking for is to improve the area so that customers leave satisfied,” said Bauz\u00e1.<\/p>\n
For years now, Magaluf has been working to reconvert this tourist area. In fact, private enterprise has invested millions of euros in it. Only with this project of repositioning, Fergus, together with the group Matutes, will destine 20 million. In this sense, there is again talk of public-private collaboration. The administrations, they assure, have also expressed their intention to participate in the remodeling of Magaluf.<\/p>\n
The future of this hotel complex will begin to change from this winter when the necessary works are carried out and it is expected to reopen its doors in May 2024.<\/p>\n
The presentation of the project has counted with, among other authorities, the Councilor of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Jaume Bauz\u00e0, as well as the insular councilor of Tourism, Marcial Rodr\u00edguez and the mayor of Calvi\u00e0, Juan Antonio Amengual.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
