– How do Born\u00e9us Store recycle wood? <\/strong><\/p>\n

– Our team goes through towns, markets, temples, homes… in search of disused hundreds of years old doors, forgotten trunks and felled or harvested trees to give them a second life. Later, the artisan families with whom we work take care of shaping them to create objects of inestimable value. No item is the same as another.<\/p>\n

– Do you maintain that same <\/strong>philosophy when it comes to <\/strong>packaging the products? <\/strong><\/p>\n

– Of course. We have removed the plastics from the packaging. In our personal collection in Born\u00e9us you will not fi nd any. Our commitment to reduce the environmental footprint is fi rm. Even in the mechanical process; all the forklifts we use to unload the goods are 100% electric.<\/p>\n

– What other socially responsible <\/strong>practices do you carry out? <\/strong><\/p>\n

– 90% of our production comes from artisans and small workshops. We do not entrust manufacturing to large fac- tories. It is our way of contributing to the creation of employment and revitalization of the economy of the areas in which we operate.<\/p>\n

– What are the trends in <\/strong>sustainable furniture design? <\/strong><\/p>\n

– The recycling of furniture is a trend today. But for this, the materials have to be of quality, noble; those that are lined with plastic are worthless.<\/p>\n
