The traffic restrictions for the Zafiro Ironman 70.3 Alc\u00fadia Mallorca 2023 triathlon will affect several municipalities until approximately half past two in the afternoon<\/strong>. This consolidated event brings together thousands of participants in the north of the island<\/p>\n

The Zafiro Ironman 70.3 Alc\u00fadia Mallorca 2023<\/a> triathlon will be held today, Saturday 13 May, in the north of Mallorca<\/strong>. The race brings together thousands of participants and fans<\/strong> who attend the sporting event that celebrates different swimming, cycling and running events.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to the celebration of the event, the north of Mallorca will be affected by a series of traffic restrictions.<\/p>\n

The Zafiro Ironman 70.3 Alc\u00fadia Mallorca 2023 starts at 7:40 a.m. in the Port of Alc\u00fadia with the 1.9-kilometre swim<\/strong>. Shortly afterwards, at 7:50 a.m., the road closures begin for the cycling section (90 kilometres)<\/strong>. This is the area of Alc\u00fadia and the Port (7:50 to 10:45)<\/strong>. After that, the restrictions will be located between 7:55 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday on the section of the Ma2220 that leads to Puerto de Pollen\u00e7a and Pollen\u00e7a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the bicycle race, the traffic incidents are mainly on the Ma10 road, on the Pollen\u00e7a-Lluc<\/strong> section, which will be closed from 8:30 am to 12:20 pm<\/strong>, as well as the Lluc-Caimari road (Ma2013)<\/strong>, which will be closed to traffic from 8:00 am to 12:40 pm<\/strong> on Saturday. The road between Caimari, Selva, Moscari and Campanet as far as Son Vivot will be closed from 9:15am to 1:15pm<\/strong>, and the cycling section of the road to Muro (Ma3500)<\/strong> will be closed from 9:20am to 1:45pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the third sector, the footrace, activity will be concentrated on the road from Muro to Son Amer (MA3431), from 9:30 am to 2:10 pm<\/strong>. Then on the road between Sa Pobla and Playa de Muro (Ma3433), from 9:20 am to 2:30 pm<\/strong>. This links up with the main road in the Bay of Alc\u00fadia, the Ma12, which is closed from 9:55 to 14:35<\/strong>. The race is centred on the Port of Alc\u00fadia<\/strong> in the final running segment.<\/p>\n

It is expected that after half past two in the afternoon all the affected sections will be completely open<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
