The forecasts of the Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca (FEHM)<\/strong> have been improved by six points as far as bookings in the island’s hotels during Easter Week are concerned.<\/strong> From the 70% initially forecast, the figure has reached 76%.<\/p>\n

The occupancy of hotels in Mallorca during Easter Week has improved by six points the forecasts made by the Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca (FEHM), which predicted 70%, and has finally reached 76%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the association explained in a press release, eight out of ten hotels on the island were open at Easter<\/strong>, three points more than in 2022 and 11 points more than in 2019.\"hotel\"<\/p>\n

The average occupancy rate was around 76%, with Cala Millor, S\u00f3ller, Cala Major in Palma and Peguera reaching 85%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Camp de Mar and Santa Pon\u00e7a, 80% occupancy was recorded<\/strong>. In Cala d’Or, 78%; in Platja de Muro, 77%; in Palmanova-Magaluf, 76%; in Platja de Palma, Illetes and Portals Nous, 75%; and in Capdepera, 72%.<\/p>\n

The German market has topped the volume of bookings,<\/strong> followed by the national and British markets. The Swiss, Nordic and French markets continue their growth trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As far as booking channels are concerned, the main one continues to be tour operators<\/strong>, followed by direct booking.<\/p>\n

The FEHM highlights that 90% of bookings choose half board<\/strong>, followed by bed and breakfast, or accommodation only. 10% choose full board and all-inclusive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
