The process of removing the telephone booths from the streets and squares of Palma has begun. The company contracted by Telef\u00f3nica to dismantle the booths and lay the pavement of the space will work by zones until all 115 points located in Ciutat de Palma have been dismantled<\/strong><\/p>\n

The removal of the booths puts an end to an element of street furniture “that had become a source of dirt and vandalism graffiti and contributes to improving the accessibility of streets and squares”. This is how the City Council explains it.<\/p>\n

As of today, the company CIRCET, the company awarded the contract by Telef\u00f3nica to carry out the work of dismantling the booths and subsequently paving the public space they have occupied for all these years, has begun work in Plaza Par\u00eds to reach the 115 points in Palma<\/strong> that have these elements. This work will mean the disappearance of the booths from Palma’s urban landscape.<\/p>\n
