The Fira del Fang 2023 in Marratx\u00ed will once again flood the streets of this town with mud on the 4th of March. The 38th edition of Mallorca’s great ceramics fair will be held under the title “Una retrospectiva a la Fira” (A retrospective of the Fira), which this year aims to showcase the history, impact and importance of the Fira del Fang<\/a> in the transmission of the ceramics tradition.<\/p>\n

Local and foreign ceramists will be at the Fira del Fang de Marratx\u00ed until Sunday the 12th of March, where they will be exhibiting a selection of their best pieces at hundreds of stands. Visitors will be able to contemplate and purchase everything from traditional objects to avant-garde items. The programme includes exhibitions, talks, local gastronomy and numerous activities aimed at all audiences.<\/p>\n

Saturday 4th<\/strong><\/p>\n

10:30 h. Inauguration of the Fair (marquee).
\n12 h. Concert by Pep Suasi and the Electrodom\u00e9stics (Sant Mar\u00e7al Square).
\n17 h. Family workshop (marquee)
\n17:30 h. Parade with the Demonios de Barro (Sant Mar\u00e7al square)<\/p>\n

Sunday 5th<\/strong><\/p>\n

10 h. Planting of the giants Bet and Mar\u00e7al.
\n11:30 h. Show of music, costumes and boleros by the Es Raiguer group (marquee).
\n17:30 h. Popular dance with Terra Roja (Sant Mar\u00e7al square).<\/p>\n

Monday 6th<\/strong><\/p>\n

16:30 h. Workshop with students from the manual courses of the Pilar Sastre Municipal School of Ceramics (marquee).<\/p>\n

Tuesday 7th<\/strong><\/p>\n

17:30 h. “La Bruna i el fang”. Storytelling and workshop by Isabel XXXXX (marquee).<\/p>\n

Wednesday 8th<\/strong><\/p>\n

17:30 h. 8M family workshop, by Marga Juan (marquee).<\/p>\n

Thursday 9th<\/strong><\/p>\n

16:30 h. Lathe demonstration by students from the Pilar Sastre Municipal School of Ceramics’ lathe improvement course (marquee).
\n18 h. Lecture on the history of siurell, with Amadeu Corbera, Laura de Luque and Carme S\u00e1nchez (marquee).<\/p>\n

Friday 10th<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday 11th<\/strong><\/p>\n

11 h. Laccao and AGAMA workshop (Church Square).
\n11:30 h. Popular dance with Engalba (marquee).
\n17 h. Meeting of bolero schools with Aires des Pla de Marratx\u00ed and Fiesta Pagesa de Mancor de la Vall (marquee).
\n20 h. Concert by the Marratx\u00ed Municipal Band. They will perform the winning works of the First Composition Competition for Music Band “Feria del Fang” (Sant Mar\u00e7al Church).<\/p>\n

Sunday 12th<\/strong><\/p>\n

11 a.m. Show of costumes and boleros with Aires des Pla de Marratx\u00ed and Asociaci\u00f3n Folkl\u00f3rica Virgen de la Soledad de Malpartida (C\u00e1ceres).
