The world of culture and entertainment today mourns the death of the multifaceted artist Fernando Fern\u00e1ndez Jim\u00e9nez, better known as Fernando “Estrella”, at the age of 63, in his hometown of Utrera (Seville), victim of cancer.<\/p>\n

Fernando “Estrella” was the founder of “Peor Imposible”, a musical group from the 80s that was an exponent of the Madrid movida with, among others, the Mallorcans Rossy de Palma and Toni Socias.<\/p>\n

For many years he collaborated with ‘Diab\u00e9ticas Aceleradas’, with Toni Socias, Pep Noguera and Joan Bauz\u00e1, and also participated in several films, such as “Kiki, el amor se hace”, with his friend and actor Paco Le\u00f3n. He also appeared in the television series ‘Arde Madrid’. He will also be remembered as the cook at the Bar Flexas in the Sa Gerreria neighbourhood of Palma and the soul of the party that the establishment held every year, together with the owner and friend Pepa Charro and Vivian Caoba. As a curiosity, as a chef he made the gazpacho drunk by the characters in “Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios”, a film directed by Pedro Almod\u00f3var and winner of a Goya and nominated for an Oscar.<\/p>\n

In January 2020 he gave the proclamation of the fiestas of San Sebasti\u00e1n in Palma. A few days ago he said goodbye to his friends, among them the film director Pedro Almod\u00f3var and the singer Alaska, at a resounding party in the Spanish capital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
