Few are questioning whether or not they will travel in 2023 but most are concerned about where they will travel. The prestigious Forbes magazine has listed the island of Mallorca as a possible leading leisure travel destination in 2023, which, along with Australia, Turkey, Bhutan and the tropical Fiji islands, will attract the eyes of travellers this year.<\/p>\n
“For some reason, this Mediterranean island paradise has remained stubbornly off the radar of Americans until recently, with the exception of avid cyclists (and hikers), as it is known as one of the world’s best cycling destinations, and especially popular with the discerning clientele of bespoke luxury active travel specialist Gray & Co,” details journalist Larry Olmsted. The publication acknowledges, however, that “it has long been popular with Europeans, and its huge international airport is the second busiest in Spain, ahead of the much-talked-about Barcelona.”<\/p>\n
Among the elements that make it unique, he highlights “incredible nature, vibrant beach resorts, amazing Spanish cuisine and the capital, Palma, a surprisingly large ‘undiscovered’ city.
