Among them, the reduction of VAT on many foodstuffs.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Foodstuffs that will reduce VAT in 2023<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to the VAT reduction on basic foodstuffs, the central government announced the 200 euro cheque for food. These foods will, for the time being, not be affected by the VAT reduction in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, alcohol and sugary drinks will continue to be taxed at 21% VAT.
