<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Water reserves in the Balearic Islands stood at 52% in November, four points higher than the previous month and seven points lower than in November last year. By islands, the percentage of reserves increased in all of them: Formentera is the island with the largest increase and goes from 51% to 66%, Mallorca rises from 48% to 51%, Ibiza goes from 49% to 52% and Menorca increases one point and reaches 55%.<\/p>\n
As for the Demand Units (DU), all of them are in a pre-alert scenario, except Formentera, which enters a normal scenario.<\/p>\n
Regarding the information from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the data indicate that November has been wet, in the whole of the Balearic Islands have been recorded 98.4 litres per square meter, 25% more than the historical average of 78.5 l\/m2. By islands, it was very wet in Menorca with 145.8 l\/m2 compared to the historical average of 78.3 l\/m2 and wet in Mallorca with 101 l\/m2 compared to the historical average of 82.1. Eivissa was dry, with 39.2 l\/m2 compared to the 59.7 l\/m2 recorded historically on average, and Formentera was very dry with 17 l\/m2 compared to 42.6 on average.<\/p>\n
The percentage of interannual rainfall in the Balearic Islands is 16% below the historical average and stands at 84%. In Mallorca it stands at 78% (22% less than the average). On the other hand, in Menorca and the Pitiusas Islands it rained 15% and 4% more than the average. In terms of temperatures, November was a very warm month.<\/p>\n
