The S\u00f3ller train from April 1 has new timetables and prices. The centennial formation, inaugurated in 1912, is one of the most beautiful attractions on the island. It starts from Palma and goes through the towns of the Serra Tramuntana to the town of S\u00f3ller. From there you can continue the tram route to Port de S\u00f3ller.<\/p>\n
In the last time the train had a period of reforms and improvements. The iron bridge at the S\u00f3ller exit has been restored, in addition to improving the most deteriorated areas of the tracks, which will provide considerable progress in terms of safety and less wear on rolling stock.<\/p>\n
The combined train and tram journey costs 32 euros. The first train of the day from Palma leaves at 10:10 and the last at 19:40. On the way back, it departs from S\u00f3ller at 9:00 a.m. and the last service at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
After the reforms carried out, the president of the S\u00f3ller Railway, \u00d3scar Mayol, pointed out that his objective is “to face a good season, hopefully better than last, strictly complying with all the safety and prevention regulations that we already had imposed”.<\/p>\n
