The videoconference meeting between the authorities of Russia and Ukraine lasted four hours while Kiev was once again the center of the attacks. It transpired that progress has been perceived in the conversation to suspend the invasion, but there is still a long way to go. <\/span><\/p>\n

The parties will meet again on Tuesday, Mikhailo Podoliak, advisor to the Ukrainian presidency, said on his Twitter account, with the aim of facilitating “a technical recess.” <\/span><\/p>\n

Deputy Leonid Slutsky, from the Russian negotiating team, has been especially optimistic in indicating that the talks have reached “substantial progress” at this point and that the two parties could reach a “unified position” in the near future, according to the agency. <\/span><\/p>\n

Russian state news TASS. For the time being, Russia is demanding that Ukraine recognize the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, forget about its aspirations over Crimea and promise that in no case would it join NATO, unacceptable demands in principle for Ukraine. <\/span><\/p>\n

The World Health Organization (WHO), for its part, confirmed this Monday a total of 31 attacks against health centers since the beginning of the invasion in Ukraine, in which 12 people have died and another 34 have been injured. <\/span><\/p>\n
