Another exhibition, linking science with superheroes, will also take place at Casal Solleric. Professors \u00c1lvaro Pons (UV), Jordi Ojeda (UB) and the art collector Jaume Vaquer, explore the fundamental role of science to justify the origin of superheroes through the comic pages of 40 authors. Through them, one delves into Newton’s laws of physics. Chemical and thermodynamic aspects are also analyzed
\nOutside the Solleric, on Passeig del Born, one of the festival’s highlights will be displayed. The exhibition “Science according to Forges” is a tribute to Antonio Fraguas (Forges), on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). Throughout the Born, 66 science and technology cartoons by the cartoonist will be exhibited.<\/p>\n
Talks, master classes and debates<\/h2>\n
This edition also features a fortnight of talks, master classes and debates on comics and science, which will take place on November 27 and 28 at the Escuela Superior de Dise\u00f1o. Among others, the National Comic Prize and the City of Palma Prize, Cristina Duran and Miguel \u00c1ngel Gin\u00e9, will explain their creative process. On his side, the Mallorcan Tomeu Morey, official colorist of DC Comics in Washington, will talk about his work and how his colors are seen around the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
