The best golf in Europe returns to the Balearic Islands with the presence of the most outstanding players of the circuit who will play the Mallorca Golf Open until October 24 at the Santa Pon\u00e7a course.<\/p>\n
The event marks the return of top-level golf to the island 10 years after the last Open that was held in these lands. Santa Pon\u00e7a will host top-level European and world players such as: Martin Kaymer, winner of the Ryder Cup and two ‘majors’: the PGA Championship and the US Open; Thomas Pieters, winner of the Ryder Cup and four European Tour tournaments.<\/p>\n
In addition, a large part of the ‘Spanish Armada’ will step on the grass of Santa Pon\u00e7a led by Gonzalo Fern\u00e1ndez-Casta\u00f1o and \u00c1lvaro Quir\u00f3s, with seven European victories each, Nacho Elvira, recent winner of the Cazoo Open 2021, or Adri Arnaus, second classified in the Acciona Open of Spain last week.<\/p>\n
