The Augusta movie theater will open its doors again on Friday, September 17, while R\u00edvoli will open its doors the following Friday, September 24. After long months of closure and uncertainty due to the health crisis, the Aficine group has been reopening its cinemas in a staggered manner and this September it is the turn of the two cinemas in the center of Palma, which were still closed from the beginning of the pandemic.<\/p>\n
Augusta Aficine will open its doors again on September 17 with the premiere of films such as “Dunem”, the feature film based on the sci-fi classic of the same name, and “Lazos”, the new film by Italian director Daniele Luchetti that inaugurated the last edition of the Venice Film Festival, in the first week of reopening; and the horror film “Don’t breathe 2”, “Cry Macho” and the new film by Ic\u00edar Bolla\u00edn, “Maixabel”, in its second week.<\/p>\n
For its part, R\u00edvoli Aficine announces its reopening on Friday 24th of this month with the premiere of the film “Respect”, a biopic of the legendary singer Aretha Franklin who follows her career from childhood to her international fame. And it will also premiere on October 1 the long-awaited installment of the 007 saga, “No time to die”, whose tickets will be on sale from September 17 on the group’s website.<\/p>\n
Both cinemas have been prepared to receive their viewers with the maximum guarantees of safety and hygiene, implementing the protocols indicated by the health authorities.
