The Santany\u00ed<\/strong> <\/a>City Council organizes the XXI Meeting of Painters that takes place in Cala Figuera on August 28 and 29. The objective is to bring together all the artists who want to participate in this new edition of the municipality’s traditional Trobada de Pintors.<\/p>\n

Cala Figuera, a fishing port with a great maritime charm, has never left anyone indifferent and is an inspiring place for artists of great renown and extensive experience. Proof of this is the great participation that this call has caused among the artistic and pictorial guild in its previous editions, except last year due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n

Already consecrated painters and others who are beginning their career participate in the Trobada de Pintors de Santany\u00ed. The former give category to the call, while for the latter, the Painters’ Meeting is a boost to their career and an opportunity to make themselves known.<\/p>\n

Painters’ Meeting exhibition<\/h2>\n

The works carried out throughout this event will be exhibited in the port of Cala Figuera. It will be on the afternoon of Sunday August 29 and at the Casa de Cultura Ses Cases Noves the week after the celebration.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Culture of Santany\u00ed, Ricarda Vicens expressed her satisfaction at \u201cbeing able to reopen this call once more. It is a meeting place for new and experienced artists to seek their vision of \u201csa cala\u201d, as so many painters have done throughout history\u201d.<\/p>\n

Those interested in participating must register at the Cala Figuera Tourist Information Office between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. There the cloth on which they will embody their creations will be sealed, one per participant.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
