Red Asistencial Juaneda faces with realistic optimism the end of this 2020,\u00a0a year marked by the health crisis of\u00a0COVID-19 and the economic and social crisis derived from the fall in tourism. This has not prevented the company\u00a0 from continuing to bet on the three\u00a0pillars on which it bases its philosophy:\u00a0seeking excellence in human capital, investment and technological renovation\u00a0and the enhancement of the group\u2019s\u00a0hospitals in order to strengthen the\u00a0growth of the network on the islands.\u00a0Values expressed in its Strategic Plan.<\/p>\n

Professional excellence and technology<\/h2>\n

Between 2019 and 2020, Red Asistencial Juaneda in its process of continuous improvement has consolidated\u00a0its workforce of health professionals,\u00a0accommodating in the structure a new\u00a0generation of specialists in medicine,\u00a0nursing and non-healthcare personnel\u00a0who have increased the excellence of\u00a0the group.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Juaneda Hospitales\u00a0has heavily invested in\u00a0medical equipment<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The year has also meant great progress and a firm commitment to the Innovation Plan through investment and\u00a0technological renovation of the group,\u00a0with a special focus on electromedicine.\u00a0Many have been the acquisitions of\u00a0cutting-edge technology, which place\u00a0Juaneda at the technological forefront\u00a0in the islands. An ambitious technological development plan that has also had\u00a0to adapt to the moment, with the acquisition of robots for PCR tests, giving a\u00a0better response to this situation.<\/p>\n

Throughout 2020, in the midst of the\u00a0pandemic, the company has invested\u00a0heavily in state-of-the-art medical and\u00a0radiodiagnostic equipment, in addition to developing substantial improvements in the field of computer efficiency with a single objective: to offer the\u00a0best care to patients.<\/p>\n

A new hospital<\/h2>\n

The enhancement of hospitals, the third\u00a0pillar of the Strategic Plan, has managed this year to improve and make the\u00a0Juaneda Hospitales healthcare centers\u00a0more efficient, friendly and comfortable. The flagship is the construction of a\u00a0new hospital in Ciutadella, which will be\u00a0a reference on the island, modern and\u00a0welcoming, for patients and visitors.<\/p>\n

In addition, improvements have\u00a0been made in the large centers of the\u00a0network: Cl\u00ednica Juaneda, Juaneda\u00a0Miramar Hospital and Juaneda Muro\u00a0Hospital, as well as the better provision of other centers such as Inca and\u00a0Juaneda Center.
