The Cam\u00ed de Cavalls (horses path) is a particular Balearic\u00a0\u2018Camino de Santiago\u2019. Almost 200 kilometers of ancient\u00a0trails that surround Menorca discovering its irresistible\u00a0natural charms. Menorca Tourism divides this route into\u00a020 stages, but what if you put all of them together? Then\u00a0you can dedicate days and days to go around Menorca\u00a0on foot, by bike or on horseback through this GR223 that starts in Sa Mesquida and ends in Cala Sant Esteve.<\/p>\n
This route requires adequate equipment according\u00a0to the weather conditions and attention to signs, as it\u00a0sometimes runs through private properties. Respecting\u00a0the rules is key to their preservation and one of them is\u00a0the prohibition of camping. Therefore, the ideal is to plan\u00a0the accommodation in detail according to the stages that\u00a0are going to be covered or to hire the whole experience\u00a0with a local adventures company. The British could not resist the charms and the strategic\u00a0location of the island of Menorca, which they conquered\u00a0in 1708.
